The Signal Concert Venue

The Signal is a premier live music and event venue in Chattanooga, Tennessee, offering 20,000 SF of total event space across distinct areas including a main concert hall and a secondary ballroom. The facility accommodates a total capacity of over 2,200 people. Working with general contractor Tucker Build, EC Engineering delivered fully coordinated MEP and fire protection systems for this landmark entertainment destination.

Designing MEP systems for a 2,200-person capacity venue with multiple distinct event spaces required careful load balancing, life safety coordination, and HVAC zoning to serve both the high-occupancy concert hall and the separate ballroom simultaneously.
