Project Overview

In 2022, the Lodge Museum of Cast Iron opened offering visitors an interactive experience including simulated cast iron skillet production and culinary classes. The museum boasts the world's largest cast iron skillet, measuring 18 feet and weighing 14,360 pounds.

Project Scope

A complete renovation of the existing warehouse structure performed in two phases. Phase 1 of the museum design occurred in 2021, while Phase 2 launched in 2022 and included both a kitchen and restaurant renovation.

Challenges & Highlights

Notable design elements included the creation of MEP 3D Isometric plans as well as complex and substantial site design coordination with partners throughout the process.
